Networking breakfasts in the community by Lisa

2014 has not only been cold, but it’s also been very busy for me in the community. I’ve been attending several networking breakfasts sponsored by the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and by the Continuity of Care groups. These events offer me excellent opportunities to meet new people in the community, develop relationships with people I’ve already met, and learn about topics in the industry. The last speaker educated us on options for house sharing. These organizations help homeowners with a spare bedroom and individuals looking to rent a room. The homeowner benefits from getting support in the home and the renter is offered an affordable option for living. It’s a great service that the community should be aware is available. I look forward to attending the next Continuity of Care breakfast next week to see what services the presenter has to offer.
